Educational Requirements
- Coordinate quality assurance objectives with production management to minimize rework and scrap costs while maximizing product reliability.
- Understand certifications associated with various types of plating such as Zinc, Cad, Tin, and Anodize.
- Manage quality systems associated with ISO 9001, AS9100, and PPAP while ensuring compliance with ROHS/Reach and other material restrictions.
- Supervise and guide quality inspectors, fostering a cooperative relationship with manufacturing to align procedures and attain quality goals.
- Oversee customer service support, addressing technical questions and collaborating with clients to resolve quality-related concerns.
- Analyze scrap data and monitor progress to develop and implement continual quality improvement strategies.
Key Skills
- Expertise in quality management systems (ISO 9001, AS9100, PPAP).
- Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and job orders.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities to ensure effective collaboration across departments.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Background in manufacturing processes and proficiency in PC and mainframe systems.
- Comprehension of certifications for plating, heat treatment, and material compliance.
