Quality Manager

The Quality Manager focuses on the facility's quality program to ensure compliance and high product standards. The role involves handling customer quality complaints, conducting on-site visits, and liaising between management & manufacturing regarding technical issues.

​Main Duties & Responsibilities, Key Skills & Educational Requirements:
Main Duties & Responsibilities
  • Coordinate quality assurance objectives with production management to minimize rework and scrap costs while maximizing product reliability.
  • Understand certifications associated with various types of plating such as Zinc, Cad, Tin, and Anodize.
  • Manage quality systems associated with ISO 9001, AS9100, and PPAP while ensuring compliance with ROHS/Reach and other material restrictions.
  • Supervise and guide quality inspectors, fostering a cooperative relationship with manufacturing to align procedures and attain quality goals.
  • Oversee customer service support, addressing technical questions and collaborating with clients to resolve quality-related concerns.
  • Analyze scrap data and monitor progress to develop and implement continual quality improvement strategies.

Key Skills
  • Expertise in quality management systems (ISO 9001, AS9100, PPAP).
  • Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and job orders.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities to ensure effective collaboration across departments.

Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Background in manufacturing processes and proficiency in PC and mainframe systems.
  • Comprehension of certifications for plating, heat treatment, and material compliance.
